In this course, you will be encouraged to produce vibrant paintings that strike a balance between spontaneity and fine detail built up with glazed layers of colours. We will give you a variety of still life set-ups and themes to work with.

How to apply colour, texture and layers to still life oil painting
Practical work is supported by reference to the work of experienced painters, which can be used as a source of inspiration
Level: The course is suitable for students of all levels, including those with some previous experience. Numbers are kept to a maximum of 15 (sometimes fewer), which gives time for the tutor to go round and give one-to-one advice according to individual needs.
