Description

This Strategic Information Technology Level 1 training course imparted by London Corporate Training is an intensive week designed for board members or senior executives who want to understand quickly what Information Technology (IT) can do for their organisation.

It will help inform business decisions with participants learning the art of the possible, the commissioning process, and various elements which need to be considered as part of an effective IT strategy.

The curriculum covers the strategic choices which lie before forward-looking organisations - developments in corporate computing; agile techniques; common mistakes and challenges; opportunities and risks; and decision frameworks.

This course also includes management information requirements and their application. Finally, the programme looks at areas of IT development and how this may impact organisations in the future and relate to IT strategies and planning.

· What are the objectives of this course?

By the end of the course delegates will be able to: • Appreciate the advantages and risks of corporate and internet computing, in achieving financial, efficiency and other objectives • Explain the costs, economics and opportunities provided by the corporate computing systems, the internet, cloud computing, open standards and social media • Create plans for the application and management of ERP, CRM and IT projects using agile project management to achieve efficient and reliable and effective performance
