Strategy is crucial to the development and success of organisations, from entrepreneurial start-ups to multinationals, from charities to governmental agencies and many more across the world. Strategy raises big questions about these organisations – how they start, grow, innovate and change. Behind every success are strategists as key thinkers, decision makers and implementers.

Lancaster’s MSc Strategy builds on its global reputation in Corporate Strategy and will enable you to experience and engage in all key aspects of strategy work, including strategic analysis, strategic decision-making and strategy implementation. You will work with experienced practitioners, senior consultants and world-leading researchers to understand and engage in the everyday complexities faced by strategists as they develop and implement important decisions that affect the future direction of their organisation.

Our MSc Strategy will take you through a stimulating period of personal and professional transformation that will enable you to tackle strategic challenges confidently and competently that face all organisations. Key modules such as the Consultancy Challenge and the Strategy Practice Project will give you the opportunity to engage in real strategy projects with UK and international companies. Our practice-based pedagogy will gradually cultivate the necessary practical skills in developing, creating, innovating, leading and changing strategies in real-world situations. You will be challenged to study strategies and to actively demonstrate their viability to different interest groups within and outside the University.
