This study day is open to any Health Care Assistant / support nurse working in an environment that cares for patients following a stroke. You may work in the Emergency Department, on a Hyper-acute Stroke Unit (HASU), stroke/medical ward or in a rehabilitation setting.

The aim of the day is for you to improve your knowledge and skills around the causes and types of stroke, treatment, deficits following stroke and to increase your awareness of the support available in the community on discharge.
