A course looking at the techniques involved in recording and producing bands in a studio environment including, microphone techniques, mixing desk, dynamics, effects, multi track recording and mastering, as well as ‘hands on’ recording of bands. This is a course that starts from the beginning , how to plug in a mic through the mixing desk, Eq dynamics, the patchbay and how to get the best performance from musicians you will be recording.To fi nish off, a look at mastering to fi nish your project. This is a course for budding recording engineers who want to learn the ins and outs of recording music rather than making it on a computer.
