Why are we the way we are? This A Level Psychology Course explores four interesting areas of psychology and development in an effort to answer precisely that question. This home study course explores early social development, cognitive and developmental psychology and social and biologicial psychology. There is also an overview of psychopathology and a study on the different trending topics in psychology such as stress, media influence, sleep patterns and aggression.
This convenient and flexible course is ideal for anyone wishing to study psychology at a higher, university level. Given the flexibility of the course, it is also of value if you are looking to receive further training whilst employed. This course is also appropriate for those with a general interest in learning more about psychology.
After taking this course, you will gain a better understanding of how different factors affect our development and our day to day routine and interactions with others. The course contains a number of assignments which your tutor will mark and give you valuable feedback on. We call these Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs). You need only send the TMAs to your tutor for comment, not the self-assessment exercises which are also part of the course to help you gauge your progress.
