Naples is often seen as a gateway to Pompeii but actually this city has some of the best baroque art and architecture in Italy and deserves to be visited in its own right. It also has an energy like nowhere else. See works Caravaggio would have seen, such as Vasari’s frescoed ceilings and other stunning church interiors. Observe one of Caravaggio’s most notable works in situ and others in museums in the context of his contemporaries. Admire the faded grandeur of Naples’ architecture and see Il Cristo Velato, one of the greatest sculptures ever made.
Please note: The course fee covers three full days of guided visits and all entrances to museums and churches. It does not include flights, accommodation, meals, travel insurance etc. which you will be required to book independently. You must purchase valid travel insurance.
THIS COURSE IS NOW CONFIRMED – feel free to book your hotels and accommodation once you have signed up for the course.
