About this course
Ideal for those wishing to develop their thinking skills, breaking traditional patterns and reaching for fresh approaches to dealing with situations and problems.
Ages 18 and over.
No qualifications are necessary, just an enthusiasm for the subject.
Certificate of Attendance.
Students will take part in a series of experimental workshops such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography and textiles which will provide a platform in which to test conceptual ideas and develop design thinking.

Course programme
- (for all 3-week summer courses and 2-week Creative Thinking and Skills Development)
- Single study bed room with private ensuite bathroom, in AUB’s town centre Halls of Residence
- Halls of Residence WiFi
- Half board meals: Breakfast and lunch provided on campus, Mon-Fri
- Daily private shuttle bus transfers to campus
- 24 hour on-site security staff and live-in AUB residential staff
- Programme of social activities in evenings
- Weekend day trip to London
- Access to shared kitchens and cooking facilities for evening meals
- Laundry facilities, student social common room
Individual work will be complimented by a programme of presentations, group discussions, critiques and talks from creative professionals.
Campus learning will be complemented with a multi-activity programme with study day trips to iconic places of interest such as London and Bath to contextualise studio and workshop activities and inspire students’ own creative work.
