Summer Shakespeare

The following weeks will develop the performance work by bringing in a critical perspective and evaluating the choices available to the actor. During the course you will attend two productions of Shakespeare plays showing in London. In the past students have visited Shakespeare’s Globe, the Hampstead Theatre and The Actor’s Church. The course is suitable for everyone that is interested in gaining more experience in performing Shakespeare. You must have prepared a Shakespearean monologue before the start of the course (details will be given on booking of a place). You will work towards an informal showing at the end of the course.
