2. Course description If you would like to be a Teaching Assistant but have little or no experience, this is the course for you. It will give you the knowledge and experience to be able to work as a Teaching Assistant in a primary or secondary school. You will attend college for around four hours a week for one year plus you will spend around one day a week in school to gain practical experience in the role.
