2. Course description If you would like a member of your staff to gain a qualification as a Teaching Assistant, this is the course for you. It will give them the knowledge and experience to be able to work as a Teaching Assistant in a primary or secondary school. They will attend college for around four hours a week for one year plus they will spend around one day a week in school to gain practical experience in the role.
