This SVQ course is designed for people who work in the hospitality industry, to assess the student’s competence in a work situation.
This three-to-four year course is designed to give you knowledge, skills and understanding of sustainable and efficient agricultural systems. You'll explore systems that regenerate soils and enhance biodiversity, and which release land for forestry and woodland, renewable energy generation, and biomass production for a rural bioeconomy. You'll also learn about the latest approaches to improving the yields, nutritional value and stress-resilience of crops, as well as food product innovations from insects, plants and cell cultures. Once you've completed the course, you'll be ready to support the agricultural industry as it rises to the challenges ahead.
