Course programme

The course covers theory such as insurance, data protection etc, suggestions for hygiene and comfort of clients in the workplace, theory of massage, history of massage, how to carry out a consultation, aftercare advice, cautions and contra-indications, anatomy and physiology of the back, and a large proportion of practical work carrying out the treatment. It is taught 1-1 with the practical work broken down into manageable "chunks", and ongoing support is provided should students wish.
