What is Tai Chi?
Tai Chi begins with gentle qigong exercises, focusing on mental awareness and concentration, they 'ease' the body into a state of well being and increase natural vigour, this is usually followed by training in the traditional form that has been carefully handed down through five generations of the Yang Family to us today consisting of a perfect 20 minute graceful training routine that works deep within the body strengthening core muscles, tendons and bone density. This is usually followed by partner exercises and push hands drills. Eventually you can learn the more martial forms including double edge sword, broadsword, spear and pole.
