2. Course description This qualification is for those aspiring to work as part of a school workforce who directly support the teaching and learning of pupils. Full teaching assistant training is required for anyone looking to work unsupervised in an educational role, either as a teaching assistant or learning support assistant. This course is designed for those looking to develop their knowledge and skills within the sector and advance their career within a teaching and learning support role. During this NCFE Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning training course you will learn how to support teachers with the delivery of a school curriculum, while helping children to develop self-esteem, independence and abilities for learning. This NCFE Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning training course is taught as a blended learning course, giving you the chance to put your knowledge into practice with a 200 hour work placement* in an Ofsted regulated organisation with children between the ages of 6-19. *The learner is responsible for finding a suitable placement and the school needs to be on the college-approved database.
