Course Description
This new course will enable you to develop knowledge and skills relating to a career in technical theatre. You will have the opportunity to incorporate these skills during live theatrical performances of drama and musical theatre.

Preferred Entry Requirements
Preferably 1 Higher OR appropriate range of SQA NQ units. Mature students over 21 without appropriate qualifications but with relevant experience may be given entry. Entry by informal interview.

Course Content
Stage Management; Stage Lighting; Stage Sound; Set Construction and Painting; Props for Production; Audio/Visual Technologies for Theatre.

Progression
HND Technical Theatre (subject to validation). Employment within the theatre industry.
