Techtrain is an organisation that specialises in training and consultancy work for individuals and companies that use and/or service any type of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.We only train in small groups – normally up to nine candidates per course, we have probably the best Training Centre in the country – it is a purpose built training centre dedicated to training in Refrigeration, Air-conditioning and Electrics.As an employer as well as a training company we are constantly on the look out for employees and in August 2003 employed one of the resettlement candidates from a course to work for us in Norwich. He has now become a successful member of the Techtrain team. In 2008 we took on an ex RN candidate as a Trainer/Assessor, who is now successfully delivering courses. Also we have contacts with many of the large refrigeration companies throughout the country, so we are often in a position to provide leads for jobs, although we cannot make any promises.
Advantages of studying here
Registered under the ELCAS scheme for MOD resettlement courses.Most days are taken up by 60% practical assignments and 40% theory sessions.Candidates will be issued with all study notes and practical assignment folders during their course.The qualifications offered are nationally accredited by City & Guilds and CITB.
