When the internet connection is lost and it is impossible to perform daily tasks - to read news, make a banking transaction, write an e-mail, when there's no access to the favourite social networking site - the world seems to stop spinning.
The aim of the telecommunications engineer is to prevent the above mentioned failures and to secure the data flow over communication channels, i.e.to prevent the Internet failures, despite any load, and to prevent a specific website from being hacked. No matter, whether we read news, write an-email, or make online transactions.
This study programme is designed to prepare specialists, who create and administrate modern information networks data transfer.
The world goes crazy about IT, and often is mislead by the idea that IT specialist is a programmer. However, programmers occupy only a part of IT market. The equally important part of the market is occupied by telecommunications engineers - IT networks developers and supervisors.
The Telecommunications Engineering study programme is aimed at preparation of specialists, who are able to design, exploit and develop modern information and telecommunication infrastructure (data centers networks, internet service provider networks, modern mobile systems networks, enterprise networks of various size, etc.), design software and hardware equipment for modern electronic connection devices, also, systems that control advanced telecommunication networks.
A telecommunications engineer may be compared with a police officer, who controls the traffic in case of the traffic lights failure in order to avoid traffic jams. Telecommunications business manages, supervises and ensures an uninterrupted work of various systems.
Telecommunications engineers are invisible guards of the modern world. These are people, who remain unnoticed by many, but manage the Internet and are responsible for the full life of the modern world.
