Temporary Traffic for Designers

TMS is well known for traffic management and road safety training in Ireland and already runs similar training accredited by LANTRA for the National Highways Sector Scheme in the UK. This is a new 2 day course for technicians, engineers and others who may be responsible for the design, planning, supervision and management of temporary traffic arrangements rather than those who actually implement them. The course content has been developed by the Local Government Management Services Board and Department of Transport specifically to address the training requirements of Irish Local Councils. The course is also available to private sector designers who may be involved in temporary traffic management as part of the design process. The course involves workshop sessions to illustrate practical issues and is fully assessed, including a test to demonstrate learning and competency. All delegates completing the course successfully will receive a certificate of competency.
