Speakers:

Jonathan Maskew

Jonathan Maskew is a management and marketing consultant, trainer and qualified professional coach who specialises in working within the legal environment. He particularly focuses on the bar and Barristers chambers.

Formerly a Senior Clerk / Practice Manager with 20 years experience, Jonathan has a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing a busy chambers, and a former member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks management committee.

Key involvement in the development of the national "BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration" and also acted as a leading presenter and assessor.

Involvement in the development and currently acting as co-presenter of the Bar Standards Board national training course "Complaints Handling for Chambers".

In 2006 formed Footsteps Management Solutions, offering consultancy services to Chambers throughout the UK.

Currently assisting Chambers with a major restructuring initiative including performance development and review, business strategy and marketing initiatives to assist Chambers with their preparation for the challenges and opportunities alongside the reform and modernisation of the legal services market.

Jackie Maskew

Jackie Maskew is a management consultant, trainer and qualified professional coach who specialises in working within the legal environment. She particularly focuses on the bar and Barristers Chambers.

Formerly a chambers Administrator with 20 years experience, her extensive chambers management experience and knowledge provides a solid foundation on which she draws when driving performance improvements in chambers.

Jackie works with various clients in numerous capacities including providing interim chambers management services. She specialises in helping organisations reach peak performance through innovative change management and people development approaches.

Jackie also designs and delivers bespoke learning interventions that have included modules of the IBC BTEC Chambers Administration course. Her most recent project on behalf of Professional Solutions has been to design and deliver procurement and tendering training to a wide audience with mixed skills and abilities.

Jackie believes that organisational change is best achieved through empowerment and an engaged workforce.
