Tendering for Public Sector Contracts

Your package on Tendering for Public Sector Contracts provides comprehensive information for business owners who are too busy to attend public courses.

Whilst I am not a specialist in the field of procurement, I think each of the six modules provides the necessary information in a form that can be understood and actioned. Students can also access the various modules selectively and focus on the area that most interest them. The tools and references are also very useful.

Areas for future improvement could be to include a successful sample document which individuals can use as a template as this will save a lot of time and energy and could become a key selling point.

It may also be useful to include quick view documents which summarise key areas as this will save people time.

Tendering for Contracts Training

Tendering for Contracts Training provides effective accredited training on-line and support that enables learners to tender for, win and manage public sector contract projects successfully and profitably.

The training is not only suitable for manager / owners of firms who wish to learn how to tender for public sector contracts but also for individuals who wish to improve their management skills or change their careers and are too busy to attend public courses.

Being a specialist in the field of procurement for the last 20 years and with my British Gas Chief Procurement Officer hat on, I believe this to be an excellent on-line training programme.

I also think each of the six modules provides the necessary information in a form that can be understood and actioned. Learners can also access the various modules selectively and focus on the area that most interest them.

I am pleased to say that the programme refinements you undertook as a result of the first programme review resulted in endorsement by SFEDI in 2004, the award of an Innovation Grant from the DTI in 2005, and recognition in 2006 by ASET, who are an awarding body and external verifiers of the programme.

Important areas of improvement including sample documents, reference materials and information links which can be used by learners will save much time and effort by learners.
