The Tissue Viability Course Bundle is aimed at staff currently working within the health care sector. Candidates will benefit from having knowledge of wound assessment and an understanding of causes, stages, treatment and risk factors associated with a service user with a wound.

The package consist of the following:

Course 1 - An Introduction to Tissue Viability

Introduction to wound assessment.

Course 2 - Assessment and treatment of wound

Assessment and treatment of wound has been designed to give more understanding of knowledge in relation to tissue viability and factors influencing the development wounds.

Course 3 - Dressing, Wounds and Pressure Relieving Equipment

Cover the basic principles in relation to tissue viability - selection of wound dressing, wounds care products and pressure relieving equipment’s.

Course 4 - Type of Wounds

The course content

- Acute and trauma wounds

-Diabetic foot ulcers

-Fungating wounds

-Leg ulcers

Course 5 - Wound Bed Preperation

The wound bed preparation Course has been designed to cover the basic principles in relation to wound cleansing and debridement, wound infection, infection control and exudate management.

On successful completion of this course learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement award from HRUK Group.

This certificate will be produced in PDF format, hard copies of the certificate will be available at an additional fee of £3.99.

This course is delivered online via E-Learning. Learners of the course will receive instant access to our interactive student learning portal, which offers 24/7 access to the courses.
