Qualification Purpose

This is a competence-based qualification is based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) and develops learners skills and knowledge which are required to be successful in management and leadership roles. The qualification must be assessed in the workplace or in a realistic work environment (RWE) in accordance with the CfA assessment strategy. The qualification is generic and can be applied in similar job roles across a range of sectors.

The qualification aims to develop skills in a range of areas relevant to managerial roles, such as communication, presentation skills and project management and can be used to confirm competence of those already in managerial role.
