Learn the basic theory of researching your Family History using the Internet and other resources and the best way to record findings. Learners will be guided and assisted through the process of beginning to record their family tree from scratch.

Course Aims
By the end of this course learners will have developed an understanding of the theory and practise of how to research their family tree and have developed the skills to begin to research independently.

Informal assessment through tutor dialogue and on-going support.
Are there any resources to obtain?
An A4 ring binder folder, notebook and pen will be essential. A USB memory stick would be useful.
