About this Course
If you do not meet the entry requirements for an Apprenticeship and are keen to pursue this route, you can study a General Traineeship or Creative Traineeship programme in order to gain the skills needed to progress onto a full Apprenticeship programme. The Traineeship enables students aged 16-24 to complete the Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills along with Maths and English Functional Skills over a 20 or 12 week period. It is suitable for wide range of people to study including those who are unemployed, students, those returning to work, people needing learning support or those looking to change their career.

How will I be assessed?
You will sit a Functional Skills exam at the end of the course. You will also build an Employability Portfolio.
