I recently attended the Mental Health First Aid course with Julie at HR Champions.
This was an interactive online course spanning two days. I found the course very useful, particularly with the practical role-play exercises to consider the various scenarios involving a conversation about mental health. Since completing the course and using the skills learnt back in my workplace, I found that the ‘CARE’ model has been especially helpful as it has enabled me to follow a structured conversation and achieve effective signposting to specialist agencies which the individual person can follow up on.
Thanks to Julie and the team for a practical and insightful training course, I feel I gained a lot of knowledge.

I recently attended the Mental Health First Aid course with Julie at HR Champions.
This was an interactive online course spanning two days. I wanted to let you know that yesterday I delivered my first course since I took the Train the Trainer course. It was a 1 day R01 for 17 people. I employed some of the techniques we covered on your course last week and at the end of the day a spokesperson for the delegates got to his feet and thanked me on behalf of the group for such a great training day and then I got a round of applause from all the delegates... Just lovely! So thanks again for last week, much appreciated.

The course furnished me with a great deal of information and it was efficient and composed. I learned things about my pets i did not really know some time recently. The course enhanced my abilities in comprehension my pets better, theit outward appearances and non-verbal communication too.
