Training for Success Barbering

Training for Success is designed for young people aged 16 - 18 (up to 22* years for those requiring additional support) and provides training to give you the tools and skills needed to get a job in your chosen occupational area. These Training for Success options offer you the chance to learn skills that employer’s want, whilst getting paid a weekly training allowance, and gaining experience in the workplace. When you successfully complete your course you will gain a recognised professional technical qualification, and will have gained valuable work experience that will enable you to seek employment, or progress to an ApprenticeshipsNI course to further enhance your skills. This popular course will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a competent technical hairdresser, working efficiently and effectively to a national standard. If you are artistic, creative and have a natural flair for styling hair, this course will help you explore the skills needed to turn your interests into a career. You will also need plenty of energy and stamina to succeed in this customer focused industry.
