The Transition course is specially designed for those with moderate learning difficulties. . This course will provide a wide range of learning opportunities to allow students to explore/ develop areas of individual talent and interest and to gain additional educational qualifications for life and work .Class sizes are small , with a high teacher to student ratio. Students may progress to employment or to further courses of study for example in areas such as Catering, Retail or Training for Success. The core aim of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to improve both their educational qualifications and their prospects for employment. Work placement and support to develop skills for employability and social confidence are a key part of the course offer .
