Course assessment:
The course consists of 6 units, all of which are internally assessed - there are no formal exams. The evidence you provide for your assignments will be in a variety of formats, such as discussions, presentations, posters, and leaflets.

You will produce work that shows you understand the industry, customer service, the appeal of destinations in the UK and Europe, Marketing, and you will be able to produce travel itineraries for specific customers.

This course has been designed to provide a work related qualification, which will prepare you for work or further study of the subject.

What will I learn?
Much of your work will be independent research with support and you will also have teaching in a variety of styles. In the customer service work that you do will have to demonstrate your ability to provide customer service in Travel and Tourism situations.

What Makes a good Travel and Tourism student?
You need to be enthusiastic, willing to listen and learn and have an interest in travel. you do not need to have actually travelled anywhere to enjoy this course!
