Would you like to expand your current services? The aim of this course is to teach therapists about the benefits of offering aromatherapy to their pregnant clients.
This course builds therapist confidence in using essential oils to treat pregnant women. Many therapists are wary of this area, but a realistic approach, taking into account relevant research, makes this such a rewarding treatment to give. Having this skillset also set therapists apart from others in their area.
This course is suitable for: qualified aromatherapists who would like the knowledge and confidence to treat clients during their pregnancy
This valuable CPD training for qualified aromatherapists is led by senior lecturer in Clinical Aromatherapy, Julie Duffy, BSc (Hons) Complementary Therapies at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Please note: Massage positions and techniques for pregnancy massage are taught in the Massage for Pregnancy and Childbirth course.

Julie Duffy
Tutor
Julie is an accomplished therapist and tutor who runs her own complementary therapy clinic. Julie developed and is the author of the course titled “Infant Massage” and now teaches the Clinical Aromatherapy modules in the B.Sc (Hons) Complementary Therapies at the University Of Wales Institute. She was acting Principal at Sequoia College of Complementary Health before taking maternity leave and returned to be the senior Aromatherapy tutor at the Complementary Therapies College for Wales.
