The aim of this presentation is to review the current concepts and strategies in respect of the treatment and management of soft tissue injuries. The presentation will highlight recent research and evidence related to the concepts and philosophies covered within the lecture. This lecture is appropriate for anyone required to treat soft tissue injuries regardless of the age and ability of the patient. Similarly, the presentation will address and rationalise the different treatment strategies that should be considered whatever the patho-physiological phase or rehabilitation stage that the patient presents at.
