The Course
Part-time: Thursday evenings 6.00-9.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 9.00am-5.00pm.
Full-time: Monday to Friday 10.00am -6.00pm

This is an intensive course in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The TESOL Certificate is an internationally recognised certificate which will make it possible to teach in Britain or overseas. Fees include Trinity Moderation Fee. Moderation of courses does not necessarily occur immediately on the last day of the course and it is advisable to keep at least one week free after the end date.

Entry Requirements
Qualification that would allow entry to Higher Education plus the Preparatory Course in TESOL, EFL/ESOL teaching experience or a language based Degree.

Course Content
There are 5 main course components, which are formally assessed:

• Language awareness (grammar and phonology)
• Teaching skills
• Unknown foreign language journal
• The Learner Profile
• Materials Assignment

Other Costs
Fees include Trinity Moderation Fee. Moderation of courses does not necessarily occur immediately on the last day of the course and it is advisable to keep at least one week free after the end date.
A 30 book deposit is also requested at the start of the course.

Assessment/Exams
All course work is externally moderated at the end of the course by Trinity College moderator.
