The Undergraduate Framework Award - Computing (Stoke) is designed for those who just wish to study one or more individual modules.
This may be because of a wish to develop in a particular area, either personally or through work-based CPD, or it may be as a taster prior to starting a full-time degree.
A Certificate in Continuous Professional Development is awarded on completion of two modules, and a Diploma in Continuous Professional Development is awarded after a further two modules (4 in total) are completed. If you were to continue your studies on one of our degree courses, the modules studied here could well contribute to your overall CATS point total.
The modules are designed to be stand-alone, and fit the need of a skills update for applicants in the workplace. Modules are available at Basic Level 4, which represents 1st year University Degree level; Intermediate Level 5 which represents 2nd year University degree level, and finally Advanced Level 6, representing final year University degree level.
The modules at level 4 and Level 5 can form a diet of modules.
