About this course
You must be aged over 19 and have lived in the EU for the past 3 years and currently be living in England. There is a short initial assessment to complete to ensure the course is the right level for you. If you are aged 19-24 you must already hold a full level 2 qualification.

Course programme
Year 1
The course consist of the following four mandatory units:
Unit 1: Understanding diabetes
Unit 2: The prevention and early intervention of type 2 diabetes
Unit 3: Understanding the care and management of diabetes
Unit 4: Understanding the treatment and management of diabetes.
The qualification is knowledge-based with no exam or observation required. You are assessed on written answers to questions.
