This course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to equality and diversity and to raise learners' cultural awareness. It explores the significance of equality and diversity in the work situation and introduces some key legislation in this area. The programme will guide learners in recognising prejudice and stereotyping at work and help them to understand the negative impact these behaviours can have. Development of cultural awareness and appreciate of own responsibilities in promoting equality and diversity in the work environment.
