This Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties Level 2 qualification is aimed at developing the learners knowledge and understanding of a range of specific learning difficulties.
Learners will gain an understanding of learning difficulties, including ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia & Dyscalculia. Discover how each learning difficulty can vary from individual to individual. Gain an understanding of how these difficulties effect an individual and how they can be supported with the right skills and knowledge.

About this course
Students looking into working with dogs will love our dog grooming course. Studied from home at your own pace with materials and support provided. Students will learn how to deal with a variety of breeds from Afghans to terriers.
In addition to the grooming, students will also cover the business elements of what's required in setting up your very own "doggy parlour". The course has been written and developed by a leading expert in this field.
Once you have completed your theory, you can go on to take a practical training course.
It will appeal to students looking to found their own "doggy parlour" and gain skills in animal health and care.
Students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria:
Be aged 16 Years or above
Possess a solid knowledge of the English language
Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
Basic computer skills: e.g. Word processing, emailing, uploading documents etc.
Have a genuine desire to succeed
This course provides successful students with a fully recognised qualification from TQUK, listed on the RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework). TQUK is recognised as an awarding organisation by the qualification regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who are: the office of the qualifications and examinations regulator (OFQUAL) in England, the Welsh Government and the council for curriculum, examinations and assessment (CCA) in Northern Ireland.

- Principles of specific learning difficulties
- Principles of understanding the effects of specific learning difficulties on individuals
- Principles of the diagnosis of specific learning difficulties
- Principles of supporting individuals with specific learning difficulties
- Principles of social and legal aspects of specific learning difficulties
Learners will be required to complete a series of tutor marked assignments ( normally 1 after each unit) as they progress through this course. Each assignment will contain a variety of tasks/questions. These assignments are assessed by your tutor to monitor progress. You will be provided with constructive feedback to help you in completing each unit to the required standard.
