UCL should be one of your first choice. On the contrary, if you are looking for country-side, slow moving, enclosed type of learning environment, don't choose UCL but perhaps try Warwick.

London is not as cold as everyone says, and not as rainy. If you're a PG student, do not rent out a place in a dorm itself.

Poor administration - you had better hope nothing goes wrong with your loan, accommodation, paper work etc. because it is a nightmare to sort out, no one has any idea what anyone else is doing.

Felt that UCL spent most of its time focusing on gaining funding and getting ahead in research rankings rather than caring about the needs of undergraduates. I would definitely recommend living in London.
