It is really expensive ! I've paid 300? a month only on busses. Supermarkt are expensive as well. And something like 7? a beer in a bar. The teaching methods were really different from Belgium.

nlike many other study abroad experiences, HECUA allows you to intern at a community peace-building organization. I got the unique opportunity to intern at a truth recovery/human rights legal NGO, which solidified my interest in human rights law for the future.

During my stay I lived also on campus at the Dalriada student village, which is only a few minutes from the University buildings. Although, Jordanstown is very small, the city of Belfast.

Jordanstown was a great experience with a lot of nice people from all over the world.
- I like the city - Belfast - a lot. small but historically very interesting.

There was no ESN section or any other student organisation for international students, however the university itself organised a lot for international students, sometimes in collaboration with the local church.

it gave other views on my study subject which broadened my knowledge more than if I didn't go abroad. Besides that I went to a interesting country in which both international students as local people teached me lessons no school.

Northern Ireland is a great place to study, and there are a lot of stuff to visit and see: Belfast, the Giant's Causeway

One the one hand, the different campuses are good as the university can offer more different courses. On the other hand, it is very difficult to attend in courses of another campus.

It's expensive and people living at the campus are being treated like little children. Plus there's no proper heating.
Take advantage of the university library.

The University of Ulster is also fantastic. Lecturers and staff are very helpful and kinds. There are also many facilities at the University.
