You can meet many students (many international students as during the weekends, local students are going back home). It's a nice place to live for a few months ! :) Furthermore, you really can improve your English listening to locals.

This include my accomodation (private, sharing a house with other students or young peopla), food (there was a Tesco around the corner), Bus fares.

The teaching was ok not that good nor that bad also.

Food is cheap and there are good stores such as Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's. It all depends on the student. For myself i don't drink and party so I would not spend money on going out for a drink or to a night club.

During my stay I lived also on campus at the Dalriada student village, which is only a few minutes from the University buildings. Although, Jordanstown is very small, the city of Belfast.

If you use your phone quite often, my advice should be the following : to take a card from a local operator, because communication costs are really okay (and less expensive than if you keep your own operator from your home country). If you are staying several months.

The modules choice of content was very good and relevant to today's technology. Nice coastal locations.

There are plans to move the Jordanstown campus into Belfast in 2017. The whole of Northern Ireland is great and a very welcoming place for students that are from abroad.

nlike many other study abroad experiences, HECUA allows you to intern at a community peace-building organization. I got the unique opportunity to intern at a truth recovery/human rights legal NGO, which solidified my interest in human rights law for the future.

I only took a shorter course and can therefore not say anything about the university as a whole…Be prepared to spend money.
