The seminars are obligatory and you can talk about the topic of the lecture in more depth. The lecturers were always ready to help, they never seemed to be annoyed.

It is a system of self learning with tutorials (the teacher is only there to answer questions). Weird, but really nice way of teaching, I've learned a lot in web design.

I spend too much money for the Bus. Maybe there are cheaper possibilities, e.g. go by bike! And due to my lessons at the university I had to much homework and couldn't enjoy the landscape.

There are plans to move the Jordanstown campus into Belfast in 2017. The whole of Northern Ireland is great and a very welcoming place for students that are from abroad.

Surviving in Alméria in Spain was really cheap. I had to pay 175EUR per month for my flat which was in the center and it was a nice flat to live in.

What I would highlight:
If you use your phone quite often, my advice should be the following : to take a card from a local operator, because communication costs are really okay (and less expensive than if you keep your own operator from your home country). If you are staying several months.

What I would highlight:
The house was 180 £ per mont and person. You can find a bit cheaper and also more expensive. The bus was 9£ a week.I absolutely recommend it. You will have class 3-4 days a week so a lot of free time.

Portstewart is a little bit more expensive, but not that much. My advice would be to not take an accomodation in Coleraine (the town is not lively at all at night).

You can meet many students (many international students as during the weekends, local students are going back home). It's a nice place to live for a few months ! :) Furthermore, you really can improve your English listening to locals.
