Course programme

Year 1

Candidates are sent a self-study pack prior to attending the course. The actual course is a training presentation and demonstration, followed by a practical visual assessment and multiple choice theory exam. After completing the course, candidates will be able to apply for accredited status to install unvented units, allowing them to self-certificate their installations, without the need for building control prior approval (conditions apply).

Additional information

You will be assessed against national recognised standards in a controlled environment. Your assessment will consist of a theory paper and a practical fault finding assessment.
