Description:
NVQs in information technology are practical, work-based qualifications suitable for work based training for adults, modern apprentice trainees and people in employment at all levels. NVQs cover the knowledge and skills needed to carry out specific tasks. Levels 1, 2 & 3 are made up of a number of units of competence which can be individually awarded.

Progression:
NVQ levels 4/5, GNVQs, HNC/degree courses.

Entry Requirements:
No formal entry requirements for levels 1 and 2. College interview. Entry to level 3 - suitable work-based experience or NVQ level 2.
