Vegetarian & Vegan Nutritional Therapy - a distance learning course by BSY With vegetarians not eating meat or fish and vegans not eating animal produce at all with their diet consisting entirely of foods of plant origin, special consideration needs to be given to this diet. Both diets can provide a basis for a healthy life if they are properly managed. Eating a vegetarian or vegan diet clearly demands skill and it must to be done properly to achieve dietary balance. However, once the skills are mastered and new arts in menu planning developed, the diet is varied, nourishing and easy to manage.
