The Programme
This course provides a challenging and stimulating learning programme relating to Vehicle Technology associated with modern vehicles. The course will give students an in depth knowledge of vehicle systems and how they have developed to improve vehicle handling and performance. The course will be run on the college grid system and will allow students to access an AS unit.
The Programme Content
The content of the course covers the development of vehicle systems associated with performance vehicles and motor sport. All areas of the vehicle systems are covered relating to Vehicle Technology and Design and will include chassis, electrical/electronic, engine and transmission.
Progression / Careers
Students who achieve the award can progress onto the National Certificate.
