To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of Narrow Aisle Order Pickers (man-up & man-down). Where required, to provide specific job training in both related job safety knowledge and practical skill applications for these types of machines. At the course end successful delegates should be able to operate their machines both safely and efficiently.

Course Summary
Learn how to safely and effectively operate a narrow aisle order picker (man up or man down).
On completion of the course you will be familiar with the need to train and the statutory requirements. The course will cover rated capacities for stability and instability, operating and site safety codes, machine introduction, daily checks, basic and advanced steering/manoeuvring in both open area and aisle, hydraulic controls, basic and advanced load handling and order picking, emergency procedures and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.
Course Duration
1-6 days, depending upon delegates' previous operating experience. (Experienced C/B or Reach operators would need one day conversion course, novices would need 5 day novice course + 1 day conversion).
