Course programme

Course review:

This wonderful five week course, focuses on the various workmen's villages, discovered throughout Egypt, from Deir el Medina to Amarna. This course discusses daily life and mortuary practices in these somewhat isolated and self sufficient villages. This course takes on twenty students for each ten week course, so book now to avoid disappointment. You will be required to write a 1000 word report on a village of your choice from Ancient Egypt by week five to receive your certificate.

Week One- Love songs and letters

Week Two- A life of "self sufficiency" and Mortuary practices

Week Three- Focus: Deir el Medina

Week Four- Focus: Amarna
