Course programme
This multimedia RT course is based on ICAO RT procedures and the JAR-FCL VFR Communications Syllabus. Full instructions are given on the new 6/4 digit procedure for passing radio frequencies over the RT. The CD-ROM is designed as a stand-alone training aid so that when you have worked your wya through all the lessons, you will be thoroughly familiar with the general RT procedures associated with a VFR flight.
Student professional pilots preparing for an Instrument Rating will find that the RT procedures taught on this CD-ROM apply also to IFR RT Communications.
This CD-ROM will also be an invaluable aid to those pilots - private and professional - whose mother tongue is not English and who wish to perfect their RT English. Text boxes contain the wording of all RT transmissions. A record/playback facility is available in every lesson.
