About the course:
I chose to apply for the Women in Finance Scholarship as opposed to others offered at Vlerick, because it was specifically targeted for the Masters in Financial Management programme and also because I truly believe in promoting and supporting women in finance leadership roles, which are still greatly dominated by men. I believe we must focus on diversity and inclusion, bringing different opinions, experiences and backgrounds together in order to progress and further develop.

Vlerick Business School definitely changed my life. All the business insights that I gained became a toolbox that totally complemented my engineering studies. The "real business cases" approach in all the subjects were key to challenge me. Even more, Career Services prepared me to join the labour market in a dream company. This was a great year!

My application for Vlerick was driven by the desire to grow fast and boost my career. My dream has always been to become a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and to make an impact. Hence, Vlerick is a small step in the right direction. I would advise any female to take the leap and apply for this Masters since the acquired skills will be of tremendous importance to move up the ladder in an organization. Furthermore, next to being a step closer to your dream job, this scholarship can give you that extra boost you might need. As a woman in finance, you can help drive the transition towards more female leaders. Only through a larger influx of female high potentials, we can close the gap and take all the opportunities. Most likely one of the best decisions I ever made. The manner in which the MIMS programme is structured is very challenging and that only allowed me to push harder. The topics studied are very diverse, but always focused on the practical side. The courses are complemented by an immersive trip to Asia which offers a unique opportunity to explore these cultures through different lens and understand how the business world functions there. The international in-company project at the end of the course is another huge added value. Mine took place in Ethiopia, working for an FMCG local company and was an absolute eye-opening experience. I would definitely recommend this programme!

Good school, with good study programs, they've a good mix of students from acorss the globe. Teachers are friendly and they helped us at all levels. Classes were fast paced and interesting. They also have many extra-curricular activities to do.

Die Lebenshaltungskosten sind mindestens 3 bis 6 mal teurer in BelgiumInternationals ihnen helfen - ein Abend Sie kochen, in der nächsten Abend jemand anderes kocht - es klappt billiger und es macht mehr Spaß mit Freunden zu essen. Kaufen bei Aldi, nicht passt oder Delhaize !!

Mein Zimmer war ein echter Steinwurf entfernt von der Schule, so sehr, dass ein geworfener Stein in Brechen der Fensterscheibe der Schulbibliothek reulted hätte. Das Haus im Allgemeinen war geräumig und mit einem Garten, die keiner von uns leben in dem Haus, immer Zeit zu kümmern hatte. Auch war ich einer der wenigen Menschen, die sich den Luxus einer großen Badewanne hatte, die den Zweck von mehr als ein paar internationale Studenten serviert (speziell derjenige, der hatte einen Euro an ihre Vermieterin zu zahlen, für sie 6 Minuten Dusche, jeden Tag) .Es ist kein Gehäuse Anordnung durch die Schule. obwohl Al, mit dem Unternehmen assoziiert der Universität Gent und Leuven, ist Universität Gehäuse die einzige Einrichtung, die Studenten aus Vlerick nicht verfügbar ist.

ein Vielfaches höher als in India.One Überraschung ist, würde auf jeden Fall sprießen, auch für die am wenigsten sozialen Ganz einfach, weil die Kosten im Westen leben. Bitte zählen Sie nicht auf die fcat, dass Sie nicht aus gehen würde so viel, und dass Sie sehr weniger auf Getränke ausgeben würde. Sie müssen kein Alkoholiker sein Geld für Bier zu verbringen. Dies ist Belgien.

There is a good mix of international students making it much more interesting, the teachers are focused, friendly, approachable and helpful.
What I would highlight:

What I would highlight:
Die Schule ist nur in seinem dritten Jahr von Englisch als Unterrichtsmedium - folglich die Qualität vieler Vorträge negativ beeinflusst werden. Sie arbeiten daran though.We eine sehr große Gruppe waren (65 Schüler) mit begrenztem Raum zur Verfügung. Manchmal Untersuchungen bewiesen Schreiben als sehr schwierig, da, wohin man sieht, schauen Sie auf jemand anderes Papier. Sie versuchen, die Studentenzahlen für die Zukunft zu begrenzen.
