Programme Area: Independent Living Skills

Description:
Entry level vocational qualification for those preparing for a mainstream course or employment. In year one you will complete the Edexcel Skills for Working Life, City and Guilds Adult Literacy, Numeracy and IT, Catering Studies, Health, Sport and Recreation and Creative Studies.

In year two you will build on the vocational options introduced in year one - opportunities to gain entry or Level 1 qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Catering, Business and Retail and C & G Adult Literacy, Numeracy, Media, Creative Studies and IT, Sport and Recreation and Health.

A regular weekly work placement option is available alongside tutorial support, particularly in year 2
