What will I learn?

At Entry Level 3, students will be preparing for work or mainstream study at College The course is designed to give them a broad taster in vocational subjects, and allow them to try out subjects they may not have tried before They will also study functional skills

How will I be assessed?

Through a programme of observations, a small portfolio of assignments, and functional skills tests

What may it lead to?

Students could move onto a Level 1 vocational course in the College, find employment, or join an Apprenticeship programme

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements However, students are assessed to identify your support needs (during their transition to College)

Work Experience

There is a work experience placement officer who will help students find a suitable work placement in their local area

Additional Information & Other Costs

This course is normally free for students under 19 years old and may also be free for those in receipt of government benefits
